This privacy policy sets out how The Garden Hair Room uses and protects any information that you may give in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)

Client Data

​In my mobile phone I store client data which consists of:

• Name

• Telephone number

​​This data is held securely as my phone is password/face ID protected.

Under no circumstances should I have the need to pass any of this information onto third parties.

In my appointment diary I store client data which consists of:​

• Name

• Telephone number

This data is held securely and is not viewed by anyone other than myself, therefore no third party will have access to this information.

​Client Record Cards

Each of my clients have their own record card if having a colour service.  On this card I hold client data which consists of:​​

• Name

• Address

• Telephone number 

• Email address (if given)

• Date of Birth

• Hair/scalp condition (if required)

​​Along with this data I make a record of the colours used (when colouring) at each appointment which assists me with future services. These record cards are stored securely within the salon, in a locked filing cabinet that nobody else has access to.

Clients have the right to request the information held on their record card at any time.

Photographs

Occasionally I will ask to take photographs before and/or after your hair service. Images are never taken without your consent. They are solely used for advertisement/marketing within my business. I may share these images on my website, Facebook page or Instagram. You have the right to request for images to be deleted at any time.

​In line with GDPR, you have the right to refuse permission for any personal data to be held by me.  Please notify me if you wish for your data to be deleted.

If you have not used my services for at least two years I will delete your client data and dispose of it responsibly.  I will therefore no longer have access to your personal data.
